Content Removal and Correction Policy
Effective Date: October 8, 2026 · Last updated: October 8, 2026 · Version 2026-10-08
This page explains how event organizers, rights holders, publishers, people named in our listings, and members can ask Inner Network (operated by Wavecode, LLC) to correct or remove content, and what we do when we receive a request.
1. What Inner Network publishes
Inner Network lists professional networking events in Florida for the construction, commercial real estate, architecture, engineering, and related industries. Listings are gathered from organizers' public websites and event pages. For each event we show the name, dates, venue, price, categories, a link to the organizer's registration page, a short excerpt (about 300 characters) of the organizer's description with a link to the full text, and announced speakers. For each organizer we show the organization's name, website, event calendar link, a short description, and a logo where one has been provided. We also show industry news as a headline, short excerpt, publisher name, image link, and link to the article.
We do not organize, sponsor, or endorse the events we list, and names and logos remain the property of their owners. We display them only to identify the organization and send people to its official site.
2. Who can ask for what
| If you are… | You can ask us to… |
|---|---|
| An event organizer | Correct event details; remove an event or your whole organization from Inner Network; stop us from listing your future events; replace or remove your logo or description; or claim your listing so you can manage it yourself |
| A trademark or logo owner | Remove or replace a name or logo, or change how it is displayed |
| A copyright owner (for example, of an event description, photo, or article excerpt) | Remove the material under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (see Section 5) |
| A news publisher | Remove your headlines, excerpts, or images, or change how they are attributed |
| A person named in a listing (for example, a speaker) | Correct or remove your name, title, or company from the event |
| A member | Remove or anonymize a review you wrote, correct your profile, or report content posted by another member |
| Anyone | Report content that is unlawful, abusive, misleading, or violates our Terms of Service |
3. How to contact us
- In the App: open the event, organizer, profile, or message and choose Report from the menu. Pick the reason "Copyright, trademark, or my organization" for rights and listing requests, or "Incorrect information" for corrections. Add a short note.
- By email: contact@innernetwork.app. Use the subject "Removal request," "Correction request," or "DMCA notice" so we can route it quickly.
- By mail: Wavecode, LLC, Attn: Content Requests, 5937 NW 1st Ave, Miami, FL 33127, United States.
To help us act quickly, include: the name of the event, organizer, article, or profile; a screenshot or the shared link if you have one; what is wrong or what you want removed; and, for organizer or rights-holder requests, how we can confirm you represent the organization (an email from the organization's domain is usually enough).
4. What happens and how fast
- Acknowledgement within 2 business days. We will confirm we received your request and tell you if we need anything else.
- Decision and action within 10 business days for corrections and removals from organizers, publishers, trademark owners, and people named in listings. For straightforward requests we usually act within a few days. Urgent safety matters and valid DMCA notices are handled faster (see Section 5).
- Organizer opt-outs are permanent. If you ask us not to list your organization, we remove the listing and its events and add your organization to a do-not-list record so our automated event sync does not recreate it.
- We will tell you the outcome by replying to your email or, for in-app reports, in the App.
- If we decline a request (for example, because the information is accurate public information about a public event and we believe we may lawfully show it), we will explain why and you can reply with more information.
We do not charge for any of this.
5. Copyright complaints under the DMCA
We respond to notices of claimed copyright infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. § 512, for content posted by members and for content in our listings.
Our designated agent. Copyright Agent, Wavecode, LLC, 5937 NW 1st Ave, Miami, FL 33127, United States. Email: contact@innernetwork.app (subject "DMCA notice"). Our agent is registered with the U.S. Copyright Office DMCA Designated Agent Directory (copyright.gov/dmca-directory) under registration number DMCA-1082370.
What to include in a notice. To be effective under the DMCA your notice must include:
- your physical or electronic signature;
- identification of the copyrighted work you say has been infringed (or a representative list if there are several);
- identification of the material you say is infringing, with enough detail for us to find it (event or organizer name, a screenshot, or the shared link);
- your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address;
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and
- a statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
What we do. When we receive a valid notice we remove or disable access to the material promptly, usually within 2 business days. If the material was posted by a member, we tell that member, give them a copy of the notice, and let them know they can send a counter-notice.
Counter-notices. If you are a member whose content was removed and you believe the removal was a mistake or that you have the right to use the material, you may send our designated agent a counter-notice containing: your physical or electronic signature; identification of the removed material and where it appeared; a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification; your name, address, and telephone number; and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for the district where your address is located (or, if outside the United States, the Southern District of Florida) and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice. If we receive a valid counter-notice we will forward it to the complaining party and, unless they tell us within 10 business days that they have filed a court action, we may restore the material in 10 to 14 business days.
Repeat infringers. We terminate the accounts of members who repeatedly infringe copyrights.
Misrepresentation. Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), anyone who knowingly misrepresents that material is infringing, or that it was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages.
6. Trademarks and logos
Organizer and company names and logos appear in Inner Network only to identify the organization and link to its official site. We do not alter logos other than resizing them, and we do not use them to suggest sponsorship, affiliation, or endorsement. If you own a mark shown in the Service and want it removed, replaced with a current version, or displayed differently, contact us as described in Section 3. We will act within 10 business days and usually much sooner. If you would rather manage your listing yourself, use "Claim This Organizer" in the App.
7. Corrections
Event details change. If you see an error in an event, organizer, or news item, use Report > "Incorrect information" or email us. Organizers that claim their listing can correct their own events directly. Members can correct their own profiles at any time in Account > Edit Profile; your display name is locked after onboarding to protect other members, so email us if it needs to be fixed.
8. Member content and safety reports
For content posted by other members (profiles, reviews, messages, events, organizers) that is abusive, false, impersonating, or otherwise violates our Terms of Service, use the Report option in the App or email us. We review safety reports promptly, within 24 hours for urgent matters, and may remove content, block the member, and notify law enforcement where appropriate. You can also block any member from their profile.
9. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy. The version and Effective Date at the top show when it last changed.
