Inner Network Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Inner Network ("Inner Network," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use our business and professional networking application and related services (collectively, the "App"). By creating an account or otherwise using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

This Privacy Policy is intended to comply with applicable United States privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act ("CCPA"), and similar state privacy laws in states such as Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and Utah. It applies to users located in the United States. If we expand the App to other regions, we will update this Policy to address applicable local requirements.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information in connection with your use of the App:

a. Information You Provide Directly

• Account information: name, email address, phone number, password, and job title or role.
• Professional profile information: company name, industry, professional experience, certifications, and profile photo.
• Contact and connection information: business contacts you add, invite, or connect with within the App.
• Communications: messages, posts, comments, and other content you submit through the App, including messages you send to us for support.
• Payment information: if the App offers paid features, billing name, address, and payment details necessary to process transactions.

b. Information Collected Automatically

• Device and usage data: IP address, device type, operating system, browser type, and general usage activity (such as pages viewed, features used, and time spent in the App).
• Approximate location: general location derived from your IP address, used for basic functionality such as displaying relevant time zones or regional content.
• Log data: crash reports, diagnostic data, and technical error logs used to maintain and improve the App.

c. Information from Other Sources

If another user connects with you, references you, or adds you as a contact within the App, we may receive limited information about you (such as your name or company) from that user.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and maintain your account and professional profile.
• Provide core App functionality, including connecting you with other professionals, contractors, developers, architects, and property managers.
• Facilitate messaging and communication between users.
• Process payments, if applicable.
• Maintain the security, integrity, and proper functioning of the App.
• Respond to customer support requests and communicate with you about your account.
• Analyze usage trends to improve the App's features and performance.

3. How We Share Your Information

Inner Network does not sell your personal information, and we do not share your information with third-party advertisers, marketers, or data brokers.

We may share information only in the following limited circumstances:

• Other users of the App: certain profile and professional information (such as your name, company, and title) is visible to other users as part of the App's core networking functionality.
• Service providers: we may share information with vendors who perform services on our behalf and under our instruction, such as cloud hosting or payment processing, solely to operate the App. These providers are contractually restricted from using your information for any other purpose.
• Legal and safety reasons: we may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or if necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Inner Network, our users, or the public.
• Business transfers: if Inner Network is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Privacy Policy or a policy at least as protective.

Outside of these circumstances, we do not disclose your personal information to third parties without your consent.

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App's services. If you delete your account, we will delete or de-identify your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain certain information to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.

If you are a California resident, the CCPA provides you with certain rights regarding your personal information, including the right to:

• Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (Note: we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising).

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information in Section 9 below. We will verify your request and respond within the time required by applicable law.

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information from unauthorized access, use, alteration, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for business and professional use and is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child, we will take steps to delete it.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the App or by other reasonable means before the changes take effect. The "Effective Date" at the top of this Policy indicates when it was last revised.
